There are still some C44s being patched- the last example was CNW 8680 back in December

I searched for the C44-9W patches and all I found were pictures from 2000, any later date pictures had all been repainted in Armour Yellow and Harbor Mist Gray. I was planning on modeling the present up until 2006 but I guess ill just model the year 2000. Thanks for your help.

The CNW Historical Society has up to date info on re-numbers, repaints, and patch paints. Much of this is in the Society's magazine, available through their website and some hobby shops.

Try puting a UP decale under the CNW logo and the numbers on the side.

CNW Patch #'s

Does anyone know what CNW C44-9W units were only patched instead of being completely repainted. Also what the correspoding UP numbers are. I spent a lot of time detailing a couple in CNW paint and it would be much easier to just to paint over the herald (although quite sad) than to redo it all. Any response will be greatly appreciated.
