Kawasaki commuter rail cars

Just joined this. I am interested in the Kawasaki double-deck commuter rail cars that run on the Mass. MBTA commuter rail lines to Worcester, etc. Have they been covered in any rail fan pub? Are their any HO kits available, or conversions and aftermarket items available? I haven't dabbled in rail modeling since my youth (now 72!), but the urge beckons! Thanks for anything that anyone can tell me!

Harry, I'm not positive, but I believe Athearn makes the Kawasaki commuter car you refer to. The car is in service with quite a few commuter railroads. The models I've seen look pretty good. Hopefully, some other members can give you some better info. Welcome back to the hobby. It's a great one.
