Potential sources for an answer might be :

which covers intermodal transport history and technology, and the model intermodal group SIG:
http:www.modelintermodel.com
and the Yahoo! model intermodal group. If you found prototype dimensions,
you might have to modify them to compensate for tighter track curvature on
model railroads. Please post what you learn from your research.

Hello, I need dimensions of tunnel portals for modern hi cube and doublestack mainline trains. clearance for top corners above railhead and width clearance. jc5729
