True... most of the plans in MR (at least the older ones) have a little statement right on them that states the magazine owner may make copies for his [sic] own use, but no commercial or other use is permitted. So unfortunately, you cannot create kits from those plans...

BTW, if you plan on going into business, I would buy several of your future competition's kits to see how they work. FSM, Bar Mills, AMB come to mind.

Blueprints for many buildings are kept in the County Records Office. They'll make you a print for a small fee.

The best source for plans I find is back issues of MR or RMC. I get these from the local train shop for $0.25 to $0.50 each. he always has hundreds from the 1950s to 1990s on hand.

I just got a laser and I'm wondering if anyone out there could help in finding somewhere to get plans for structures so I can burn my own.
