Tom, you need to look at an atlas. Cleburne Texas is almost directly due South of Fort Worth. It is west of I-35W! [;)]

I have one of the atearn CF7'S on my layout, actually pretty good for a RTR model.Runs smooth. Pull strength is moderate as a prototype would be , they weren't to powerful anyway.

"CF7's: From carleborne to everywhere" I don't know where carleborne is, but Cleburne is in TEXAS just south of Fort Worth.

Does anybody actually make an HO model of a CF7, or is this a total kitbashing project?

I guess maybe a book about shortlines. CF7s were originally created by the Santa Fe Railroad out of old F7 cab units to be made into yard switchers and for local freights.
