Elchulachaser Front Range went out of business many years ago. As far as your problem you might want to e mail Jim Hediger at MR or do a index of magazine search at the top of the pages here on the forums, also try www.rr-fallenflags.org and look at the Trailer Train page there or even try a google or other search engine search.

sorry i cant be of more help

Front Range front runner kits.

I'm expiriencing a dilemma at the moment, I purchased 2 boxes of the old Front Range Products Front runners from a local hobby shop in NJ and would like to know. These kits being either Four Runners, or single kits. I noticed that each box contained 2 car kits. Both boxes only contailed 4 platforms, 2 each, to mount the couplers, ladders, and brake gear. Now here is my situation:

When building the kits as singles, I noticed that you only have 2 platforms/walkways therefor you can only make one complete car. Is this right?

Are there supposed to be 2 platforms, as in the Walthers or Mc Kean single kits? If not, Where do I mount the drawbar on the trailer pad side since there is no provisions for a couple (hance the missing platforms.

Lastly, Are there any places that sell parts for these front runners to get extra platforms? I can't find a Front Range Products resource that sells parts.

Also any pictures of how these look in drawbar fashion would help me.

Thanks everyone.
