Go to GE's website and you will find an exact drawing of the evolution series. I printed the picture and drew the locomotive.

NashonG,
This article citation:

The Convertibles - GE's AC4400/6000CW Diesel Era, May/June 1996, page 23 ( AC4400, AD6000CW, DIESEL, DRAWING, GE, "WITHERS, PAUL K.", ENGINE, LOCOMOTIVE, PROTOTYPE, DE )

from a keyword search at the Index of Magazines indicates it includes a drawing. You might be able to obtain a copy from RailPub:
http://www.railpub.com
If RailPub can't help you, try the NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library:
http://www.nmra.org/library/
for a photocopy of the article. Their rates are reasonable, even if you're not a member.

Thank you for the info. There is an article in the Oct. 2004 issue comparing GEVO vs. AC's and a Painting article in the October 2003 issue. They are not posted to the web, so I will need to order the back-copies, assuming they contain what I am looking for. As for the '94 or '95 issue, no returns from the search. If you could confirm this, it would be a tremendous help. Again, thank you for your time and consideration.

Full drawings of both AC4400's and GEVO's have been in MR. The GEVO's were within the last year or so but the AC4400 drawings were published back in '94 or '95. I know that I have both issues at home but I'm not there right now so I can't give you any exact dates.

AC4400/GEVO Scale Drawings
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 11, 2005 1:24 AM
I am an industrial design student and currently working on a new concept locomotive based on the current GE AC4400 and Evolution Series. I am developing some CAD drawings from some preliminary form studies and have been searching for current drawings of the two models stated above to help in this process. Any idea where I could find drawings? Anything would help. Thank you.
