The 35 Ton GE built in 1957 we use at work doesn't have diamond plate. It has very small studs about every 2 inches on the walkways. They would be hard to see on an HO model.

Diamond plate walkways on GE 44-Tonner?

Can someone tell me whether any or all of the GE 44-ton locomotives had diamond plate walkways? I can't seem to find a photo taken from above the walkway level. I'm detailing a Bachmann Spectrum model, and the smooth walkways look a bit bare, but I'll leave them alone if the prototype had smooth ones.
Thanks.
