Modelling B&M GP7's
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, November 27, 2005 7:08 PM
I was wondering ... I know that B&M GP7's have those squared off rear ends, train electrical boxes I think, is there an easy way to model those? I have tried on Athearn shells in the past and it did not turn out well. Does anyone make them as detail parts or was there an article in MR past about detailing a B&M GP7?

Thanks

Someone made these as an aftermarket detail ages ago......can't remember who, but I almost want to say Details West, and also possibly,a smaller independent.
Walthers is always a good place to start looking.

Thanks for the help! Now if I could just find out whether MR did an article on this, I believe Rock Island had GP7's with the same electric boxes, so there might have been an article on those. Well, if not, I guess I'll have to do it.
