Both block NH schemes are mid-1950's.
The "Script Herald" is correct for 1949.

1949 was just before railroads started full dieselization, and the revamping of their image to a more "modern" appearance. Use the #80104 cars for 1949, with the full roadname in script. The big NH is a mid-1950s scheme (and the orange is a 1960s!)
