Weyerhaeuser 2-6-6-2Ts varied greatly, any specific engine and time period in particular? The immediate source that comes to mind is "Articulated Steam locomotives Of North America Vol.I". This book is most likely long out of print.

I bet Weyerhaeuser has a photo archive somewhere and a internet following as would logging operations in general. Time to put the search engine to work. Think outside the box if necessary as these were Baldwin built to a standard design, regardless of the end user, so that presents yet a another option: builder photos.

Good luck in your quest

GP_38-2,
Here's the sole citation that a search at the Index of Magazines turned up:

Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. Timber Times, October 2001, page 16 A reprint from Baldwin Locomotives magazine of 1935 ( 2-6-6-2, 2-6-6-2T, 2-8-2, 2-8-8-2, ARTICULATED, "COMSTOCK, GLEN", LOGGING, STEAM, TANKENGINE, WEYERHAEUSER, ENGINE, LOCOMOTIVE, PROTOTYPE, TMBR )

Contact its publisher to determine if they can provide a back issue or a phototcopy. If they can't try Railpub:
http://www.railpub.com
or, the NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library:
http://www.nmra.org/library
their photocopy rate is reasonable, even if you're not a member. I doubt that you'll find a copy of the Baldwin magazine except in a very specialized library.

Scroll down a little more than half way.

GP_38-2,
I'm not sure to whom your question is directed, but I'll try to help some more. I did a search at alibris.com, and four copies of the book are available, second hand, and for more than you may be willing to pay. Here's a link:
http://www.alibris.com/search/search.cfm?qwork=439409&wtit=Articulated%20Steam%20Locomotives&ptit=Articulated%20Steam%20Locomotives%20of%20North%20America%3A%20A%20Catalogue%20of%20%22Giant%20Steam%22&pauth=Lemassena%2C%20Robert%20A%2E&pisbn=&pqty=4&pqtynew=0&pbest=74%2E90&matches=4&qsort=r&cm_re=works*listing*title
You should also inquire at your public library to determine if they can get that book on Inter Library Loan.
Also, you can make your photocopy request to the Kalmbach Memorial Library contingent on the article including an interior shot. Quite possibly they may also have the Articulated Steam Locomotives book on their shelves and can photocopy from that. Hope this helps.

GP_38-2 I was reviewing my copy last night, no interior shots, I presume you mean cab interior shots. You would need to locate Baldwin erection photos most likely or travel to Seattle were one was donated for display. I suggest you purchase a copy while you can , it's a steal for the price. My copy set me back $150.00 new over 20 years ago.

GP_38-2,
The way Inter Library Loan usually works is you fill out a form listing the book's title, author, publisher, copyright date, and ISBN, and agree to pay a handling fee that may be as much as $ 10. The librarian then enters it into the system and a search determines which libraries have a copy. It is than transferred to your public library and you borrow it from them.

GP, it just so happens that I live in/near Seattle, and there is a 2-6-6-2T loco over at Snoqualmie. See http://www.trainmuseum.org/Loco11.asp.

I can't get over there real often, but if you want a picture, and are willing to wait a couple of weeks, I'm glad to help out (a good excuse to get over there myself!)

Email me offline if you're interested.

GP, after giving you a sob story last week about how busy I am, and how I likely wouldn't get the pics until later in July, wifey decided that rather than church tomorrow, she wants to go for a bike ride in North Bend. Guess what- Snoqualmie is right on the way. Weather permitting, I'll get your photos tomorrow.
