I'll have to dig around a bit and see if I can find anything on the DL&W. I have a B&W 8x10 showing ERIE ballast cars on a track relocation job, though.

Does anyone have any idea what the Lackawanna had for ballast cars? I've seen a picture of a difco side dump loaded with ballast but would that have been used on a MOW train or did they have hoppers with side grates? I'm building a Lackawanna work train in HO. Thanks.
