Milepost for Milwaukee Road at downtown Milwaukee?

Can anyone confirm that the milepost at the old Everett Street Depot (pre-1965) in Milwaukee was MP86?  This would make the shops at West Milwaukee ~ MP88.

The 1956 Timetable shows Milwaukee Union Station at 85 miles. I don't know if that means the milepost is 85 miles or Milepost 86 as you suggest.

North Avenue shows at 90 miles and North Milwaukee shows at 93 miles. Again, I don't know if those are the mileposts or if mileposts differ.

It wasn't a "Union Station" until the mid 1960s when Milwaukee built its new depot and the C&NW closed its lakefront depot.

In addition the Milwaukee Road "re mile-posted" a time or two, particularly when changing the allignment at Oakwood Road.  That however goes way way back, maybe pre WW One

My Milwaukee Road Milwaukee Division employee timetables agree on MP 85 (from Chicago) at the "old" depot.  A 1959 LaCrosse Division timetable which regards the (old) Milwaukee depot as mile zero says that "Cut Off" was 2.0 miles and Grand Ave. tower was 3.2 miles.  The shops were in the general vicinity of Cut Off.

Right, yeah I was aware of that - technically it was the Everett Street Depot.  But yes, as that is what I'm modeling I'm looking for the milepost at that old station rather than the post-65' intermodal station.  I knew it was about MP86 but hadn't found the track profiles yet.  This would makes the shops at MP87/88.

Thanks
