Thank you!  This was super helpful! I mostly model CNJ/LV and D&H allentown to wilkes-barre,  i inherited a bachman niagara from my dad that i had nothing to do with then and i saw a photo of a L&H 4-8-2 using CNJ trackage rights to Jim Thorpe and had an epiffany..LOL,  it was NYC, so i added proper trailing truck and smoke flares,  its pretty close, just have to order decals now!

"Lehigh & Hudson River" (if you are modeling the L&HR it's a necessity - got my copy on insert name of big river in Brazil)) by Boyd and Antz page 73 shows #91 at Warwick on April 10, 1949. The engine looks like she was just shopped, nice and clean, and the lettering is yellow, like on this model

Hello,  I am working on a lehigh and hudson 4-8-2 kitbashed from a bachman niagra and was wondering if anyone knew what color the lettering is.  I have seen numerous black and white photos but can't tell if its yellow or white.

tnx
