FRRYKid richhotrain Congrats, you did the smart thing. How about posting some pics when you are finished? Rich Small problem with that. I no longer have a good way to post pics here. The way I was using is no longer available.

Thanks to 3-D printing, it's pretty easy to find inexpensive pre-made interiors for most HO passenger cars:

FRRYKid I solved the interior problem with a simple eBay search. A search found resin interiors designed to fit the cars I have. Slightly pricey but well worth it in the lack of headaches of having to do it myself.

If they are the ones I am thinking of, they are 3D printed. There is an eBay seller that prints interiors for many common passenger car models.
I should have read this thread sooner, I would have suggested that. I usually don't think I will have answers for threads in the "prototype information" section.

Living the dream.
Ed,
I looked at those diagrams with my cars in front of me and none of them matched up. I wonder if the cars I have are foobies that are trying to mascarade as Harriman cars. They are Roundhouse cars with the truck mounted couplers. I'm thinking that I may have to improvise up some ideas to fit what I have.
The IHC interiors are pretty nice. I bought a three pack off eBay at a very good price, chopped them up and made molds of the seats and interior parts for making casting for my interiors. The IHC seats are very good, so good I don’t have to chop the legs of the passengers.I bought 1:87 chairs from Shapeways for one of my diners.
Lots of options out there.Mel My Model Railroad http://melvineperry.blogspot.com/ Bakersfield, California I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
I like to use the RIX coach seats in HO. They're detailed enough that after painting they look pretty decent.

You get six "sticks" in each package.
Good Luck, Ed

I will have to do some more research with the cars directly in front of me. However, I think that should be what I need. I will just have to figure out how I want to configure the interiors as there are a few possibilities.
Ed, thanks that’s a great site! Also if you are interested take a look at the Shapeways interiors. I use the 72’ Athearn passenger cars and there are quite a few available on Shapeways, a bit pricy but very nice. If nothing else looking at the 3D view of the interiors might give you some ideas in scratch building them.

Does anyone have a source for interior layouts for Harriman passenger cars? I have a few that I want to put interiors in. As usual, any assistance that can provided would be most welcomed.
