cv_acr

I mean the series does not show up in equipment registers.

I see, thanks for clarifying. I think I should sell them, and buy those with the most recent markings and reflectuve stripes.

What do you mean by valoid on any of your CP roaster lists.

Also thaks for your help. This gives me a good decaling project to do.

Also note, the number series of the cars in the two links are different: 526xxx vs 523xxx.

Here's a prototype photo of a 523xxx car (blt. 2001 NSC - with red/white reflective markings and black rectangle around car numbers)

I don't actually see that particular 526xxx series number as valid on any of my CP roster lists.

Yellow reflective striping was mandated after 2004-2005.

Questions Regarding Walthers CPR's Red Well Cars Three Unit Packs
Posted by Engi1487 on Monday, November 2, 2020 3:29 PM

I have two matching copys of these Walther's HO scale three packs of CP non-articulated well cars, in their older grey, red and blue packaging. They are based on the NSC well cars.

I noticed when watching a BArailsystem video of his CN/CP based layout, that I was the same well cars, but with reflective striping, and with a black rectangle shape with white letting with "CP," and the car numbers.

I found these, and they seem to be updated versions with reflective striping and white lettering against black.

I find it easier to find photos of locomotives, cabooses and passanger cars rather then freight cars with the many Train Pictures sites on the web. I have to ask if the later are just updated versions of the same well car, with upgraded features like the reflective striping.
