Baltimore area industries/ B&O resources
Posted by Aton on Friday, September 4, 2020 7:18 PM

Does anyone know of any interesting or famous industries near the intersection of the Baltimore terminal, Capital, and old Mainline subdivisions? Specifically, the area in between the Mt. St Clair shops (on Baltimore terminal line), the Jessup area (on Capital line), and the Ellicott City station (on Old Mainline).

Any suggestions for good books/other resources are also appreciated

I'm modeling the steam transition period ('40s to early '60s), but any industries that were still operational between 2004-2009 are also of interest.

that looks interesting... it would be a great way for me to have my out-of-area locomotives (aka non-B&O/WM)

thanks for the suggestion
