Clearly my mind had wandered.
It comes from numbering different units in the same series.
However, even with the correct illustration my comment still applies....
I guess they had the same modifications made on both four and six axle units.

British Columbia purchased C30-7s that were rebuilt into C36-8E before delivery. Did the carbody change after rebuilting? Gary
