Info on T Roosevelt Train from North Creek NY?
Posted by fisker4jc on Saturday, July 25, 2020 11:04 AM

Does anyone have info on the engine that was used to pull the train that picked up Teddy Roosevelt at North Creek, NY after President McKinely died?  I think it was a 2-6-0 Mogul maybe number 362?  The only info I have is a picture of a diorama at the Adirondack Museum and a drawing in Shaughnessy's book on the D&H.

Looking closer at the picture in Shaughnessy's D&H book, it might be a 4-4-0.  Any additional info?
