Steven, I noticed that no one has yet replied and it suddenly hit me: have you tried Google Maps?

I had posted a Youtube video of a short "then & now" of the site in the "Diner" thread.

For my 18th birthday we're going to New York and I was wondering if anything is left of the old Alco Works or if what is left is worth the hour trip? Any opinions would be great!

 

Steven, I noticed that no one has yet replied and it suddenly hit me: have you tried Google Maps?  There may be a Satellite View, or even a Street View--if you can discover the address.  Happy Holidays--and Happy Birthday, in advance!
