There is one shot under the prototype section foor the LRC on Rapido's web site that shows 6905 in a night shot where you are looking right in the engineer side windows, and since it's realtively dark, the illumination in the cab shows some of the interior - it looks like the bulkhead is right about even with the back edge of the side window. This would not be unusual, there would be an electrical control cabinet there, the cab would not be wide open side to side from the side doors all the way front to the windshield.

I couldn't find any decent photos of the Rapido LRC to compare to. Jason and his team are pretty detail-oriented so if the back bulkhead had to be moved, say to clear the truck gearing, they would only do it as a last-resort option.
I'm kind of surprized no one really gripes about how far off the "dashboard" is in the Athearn Genesis F series EMDs. I corrected one once and it was a lot of work but it looks "off" to see how far back they sit from the windshield.
Cheers, Ed
When you look through a side cab window i can see a partition or wall or bulkhead that looks to far foward is it just me?
