I picked up the above locomotive at a train show over the weekend and I am told that certain details like the horn and grab irons are not correct. I am having difficulty findi pictures of the prototype online does anyone have suggestion?

Joe, NS rosters don't list a 4272, so, there will be no photos. They do list a 4271 as an "F-9" in their executive fleet. These will be heavily modified locomotives brought up to today's standards. An indication of this is the fact that the 4271 is identified as an F-9, rated at 1800 hp. I could not find an F-9 listed among the components that made up the NS. Also, the 4271 is rated at 1800 hp while the stock F-9 pulled 1750 hp from a 567C V-16 powerplant. The 567 is based on 1940s technology and is rare on the big railroads. Could the executive Fs be powered by derated 645s which have found favor in such applications? Lastly, there are manufacturers that play fast and loose with paint and and numbers. Don't base your purchases on paint and ink if prototypical accuracy is important to you.
It’s 4271 and I knew going in that it is for the executive train(Although it is running local freight to break it in at the moment) I also knew it was not accurate going in so I am trying to find decent pics especially topside to see if it can be made more accurate.
