Is American-Rails.com a reliable source for railroad information?

Compared to Wikipedia how does it stand up?

I prefer the more focused Wikipedia entries.

I sometimes refer to American Rails. Because of their detail history. Plus it has a roster of steam and diesel together. Instead of researching if the railroad had them or not.

Yes Wikipedia does go more into depth. Sometimes they're decent information that can be helpful or not depending on what your looking for.
