This wouldn't be related to that interesting 1947 valve gear picture, would it?

For the record, Seaboard had two kinds of 2-10-2, both acquired during the general era of Federal Control.  Both were rebuilt with better balancing and disk driver centers (in the same general way as T&P 2-10-4s) and this greatly extended their life.  The originals (from 1918) lasted until 1949-51, and the USRA lights from 1950-53.
