I believe besides controlling Omaha Union Station, it had at one time the UP's Bridge Subdivision dispatcher office. The caption mentions Omaha Towers A and C being gone. Partially true. Their upper stories are gone, but the ground floor bases still survive and I believe have electrical gear for the signal system. At least C does, they even put a new roof on it.
If you can find a copy of "The Railroads of Omaha and Council Bluffs" by Kratville, there are pictures of some of the UP's towers in the area. At one time, UP had 2 interlocking towers on the Iowa side and 6 (including the 3 at US) on the Nebraska side in the Omaha area.

Here's some of the drawings from the UP standards book. I didn't specifically see a signal tower in here but if you browse the site you may find enough information to get some ideas.
