Central Oregon Pacific Railroad

I was riding through Greenville,SC. on Thursday on I-385 passing through the industrial area and noticed three 3 EMD (Gp-38's I think) which "appeared" to have been painted with the bright orange Central Oregon Pacific paint scheme. Could this be possible they would be in South Carolina?

Yes, because their parent company, G&W, also owns the Central and Piedmonth which terminates in East Greenville at one end.

All of their lines have the same paint scheme, only the herald in the center and the name changes.

Randy...thank you for the answer. The reason I was interested in this is because last month there was a sale on Athearn COP rtr sound locomotives and I bought 2 because I liked the paint scheme and being I'm modeling mid South Carolina, they will fit right in at my lumber facility.
