Mike .... Thanks for commenting.

Wishful thinking .... .... I wish CSX would restore L&N 770, a rusty old E6 located at Kentucky Railway Museum. I doubt the museum could ever raise funding for such a project.

Clinchfield 800 ... EMD F7
Posted by Heartland Division CB&Q on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 9:43 PM

EMD's Public Relations Department distributed cards measuring 7 1/2" by 3 1/4" to the public with information about locomotives produced by EMD for various railroads.

I have a small collection of these cards. Among them is a card with Clinchfield number 800, an F7 ABA.

The February edition of Trains (front cover)  has Clinchfield F7A 800 recently restored by CSX shops. It looks new.

I scanned the EMD publicity card ....
