This week I have been working on some more orphan kits for Boothbay Railway Village. We have 3 Branchline HW 85' single window coach kits that were donated. They are factory painted in the New Haven McGinnis Black with orange stripe colors. I have started to assemble them, but everything is molded in black plastic.
Does anyone have information about the interior colors of this type of car? walls, seats, etc. Thanks in advance

Try asking over on the NH Forum at www.nhrhta.org It's a free forum.
Just for reference, here's the car diagrams:

For interior paint, they were almost certainly an industrial biege as was common in the era. The window shades were Pullman Green on the outside (and perhaps biege on the inside?). Seats would have been a dark color due to the opening windows. Probably dark green as that is the color of the seats in a color photo I have of a 6800-series NH coach. The floors were tile, but what color or pattern, I don't know.
These cars were equipped with luggage racks and advertizing signs above them the length of the car interior.
Thanks Paul, the diagrams are similar to the Branchline kits. I had checked the NH society site, but decided to try here first rather than signing onto another forum for just one question.
