I note that Athearn used that number a LONG time ago on their Santa Fe caboose--back in the '50's, I think.

A shock lack of originality, I will say.

Maybe it's the one they have the most prototype pictures of?  I've seen that happen before.

I have several models of santa fe cabooses (Roco, 2 Life Like, and Bachmann N) and I have seen several others (Marx, Life Like N, Atlas, and AHM) and most of these are numbered "1951". Is there anything special about Santa Fe caboose 1951 requiring several models of it from different brands?
