I just used a picture editing software (LView/$30) and “mixed my colors” to match the background, usually took four or more tries to get the correct color.

I got tired of that and bought an Alps MD1000 printer so all I need now a jpg or bmp to make my decals.

SP MoW equipment - Early 50s
Posted by Attuvian on Friday, May 5, 2017 8:46 AM

Howdy all.  I'm upgrading (grab irons, ladders, roof walks), repainting and relettering a couple of old Walthers work train sets to Espee appearance for the early 50s.  Who has the best decals available and what were the standard color(s) for their equipment then?

Obliged.
