....Fake grain elevator, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I agree.  If you look closely at the left side of the so-called "structure", there appears to be a valve stem situated right on the level of horizon line.

That's an inflatable decoy structure!  Smile, Wink & Grin

If you look closely right above Pool, you can see the faint remnants of "Saskatchewan".

It looks a whole lot like Saskatchewan to me!

Me too.  I found it on a Ohio grain elevator website.  Fake grain elevator, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Big Daddy ---

It looks a whole lot like Saskatchewan to me! But elevators like that could be found in Ohio.

Not too close to Ohio, I'd venture. Smile, Wink & Grin

Besides the local historical society, local newspaper and library.  You can find these online, but they don't show their picture libraries.  Don't know where in OH this one was.

I did a couple of quick searchs too, and seen nothing.  Looks like it's called Sunrise Co-op now.  We have a Landmark here in WI and northeren IL., buts totally different.

If you still are in the area, maybe try the local hostorical society.

Just an idea,

Mike.

Landmark Co-op

I am trying to model a grain elevator that was in my home town, Wilmington, Ohio in the early 60's. It was a Landmark Co-op with a logo that was a large L with a circle in it. I have done an on line search but can't find a picture of the old logo. Does anyone have a picture of the old emblem I could use to make a decal? I know this is a long shot but can't hurt to try.
