BigDaddySeems like they should have mentioned James Garfield who was assassinated at a train station.
I live about five miles from his house!

I saw a story about Mr. Biden on his Acela ride home from the Inauguration. I'm glad he's an Amtrak advocate.
Thanks, Ed
I wonder how many people who read USA Today even know who Winston Churchill was??
Rich
He's a daily commuter on Amtrak. I'll say one more thing for Joe, unlike his collegues, he did not make millions on the side as a public servant, unlike many of his colleagues on both sides of the aisle.

I just saw Former Vice President Joe Biden boarding the Amtrak Acela to go back to Delaware!

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Seems like they should have mentioned James Garfield who was assassinated at a train station. They probably never heard of him.
A recent feature at USA Today! Scroll down while you're at the site to see the slide shows of the Amtrak Stations and vintage Amtrak photos, too.

I replicated one of the scenes where the Churchills and Roosevelts are riding the Ferdinand Magellan to Hyde Park when the Churchills visited the U.S. in June, 1942.
From Left: Clementine and Winston Churchill, the porter, Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt.
Somebody at USA Today must be a rail "enthusiast"!
Have Fun, Ed
