Hi all, I am reletively unknowledgeable when it comes to scratch building models. I am trying to plan and build a bridge from a prototype without much documentation of its trusses and such. Any tips on what sort of photos to use and how I should go about building it?

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Steven,
Just caught this post now......A suggestion...If You know the type of bridge that You would like to build. Google, Railroad bridges in US...(type of bridge) Images....You should get all kinds of pic's to view. Make sure You include ''Images'' in Your query. You can do the same thing as far as structural design by searching with Google again using WIKI for More info on particular bridges. That should give You a lot of ideas. Just about every structual part of a bridge, shapes etc. You can get from Plastruct...trusses, angles, H-colunms etc.

Good Luck!
