Well is it possible that the car be converted over to passenger use?

It is your RR - operate it anyway you want. I have never seen a real world picture showing this arrangement but that does not mean it had never been done. One issue is that the transition car was primarily used by the crew (I think) so it would be awkward to insert it into a consist just for cosmetic purposes and interfer with passenger movement.

Hi I am curious, is it possible to have a second transition car in an El Capitan consist to lower the height back to normal so a few more cars can be added including an observation car?
