Proper size tank car platform

I had plans in MR or RMC which I cannot lay hands on today.....

Do you have a prototype photo to work from?  I've got Ted Culotta's Tank Car book and there are many different size platforms.  Probably best to find a prototype to copy as there isn't a standard size platform.  Different manufacturers and lessees specificed different size plaforms for their application.

I'm attempting to do replacements that are closer to scale. A fella who has a SP blog talks about how oversized

the stock ones ate, but does not have prototype measurements

If you're referring to the stock Athearn platform, it's 6'6" wide and 9' long, with the handrails 3' above the top of the platform.  The platform itself is about 3" thick and sits on saddles contoured to match the curve of the tank:

I'm rebuilding some Athearn "Chemical Tank" cars. Lost my drawings, can someone give the proper dimensíons for the platform?
