Bayfield Transfer RailwayNow all I need is the class light lens size and I'm all set.
I have seen the class light lenses come up on ebay now-and-again. I have some Pyle marker/class lights from CB&Q cab cars and they're 5-3/8" but no guarantee they are the same as EMD ones.
Good Luck, Ed
Thanks, that's very helpful. The 7" bulb diameter is what I was after, I figure the bulb is very close to the size of the bulb opening.I've managed to find out the standard F unit/NW headlight is 14".Now all I need is the class light lens size and I'm all set.

I can get you in the ballpark with the headlight, anyway...
This happens to be a GP-35. The GE 350PAR56/SP lamps measure 7" in diameter.

Hope that helps, Ed
Just what it says on the can. I'm interested in the diameter of the headlight and class lights for the F-7, the GP/SD 7-9-18, and the GP-30 and later. Given the acutal size I can scale it down myself.
