color question

Hi, I´m Christian from Germany,

did anybody know or can look what for color the stripes on the nose and the big stripe on the hood are of the QCM (Cartier railroad) AC44CW no.11-29? My decal sheet of the C636 says silver but that can´t be right for the AC44CW.

Guten Tag Christian, Looking at these pictures here, and taking in to consideration, the variations of the light, and cleanliness of the locomotives in question, I’d be hard pressed to say that silver is not the correct colour.

The question though, is which silver? Being unfamiliar with what paints are readily available in Germany, my advice would be to sit down and closely look at the available paint colour charts.
