Thanks! I have another car I plan to convert over. I have a set of decals with the button Herald but the lettering is black. I may get another set of the white block lettering and kit bash the two

Here's what I came up with. Not historically accurate since this is standard gauge and this type of car would have been narrow gauge, but I think it turned out very well.

Here's a photo of the C&S boxcar at the Rotary Plow display in Breckenridge, Colorado. They have added a caboose that is painted in the same scheme.

Hello,

I am going to be modeling 3 cars in the Colorado & Southern. I have been searching in vein for the colors they painted their cars.  The few pictures I find are black and white which isn't really a suprise.   I have been able to find their cabooses. Was that same earthy red brown color used on their rolling stock too?
