Mccloud river railroad paint help

Im modeling the mccloud river railroad and i need to know what paint/mix of paint to use for the red and white stripe paint scheme. Any help on this topic would be much appreciated.

Daylight red is your friend, this compares very well with my photos and trackside observations back in the day.
