Paint scheme of CNJ tug boats
Posted by trnj on Monday, November 16, 2015 4:10 AM

I have been searching the web to determine the CNJ harbor tug paint scheme.  It seems they were the same green as their engines with yellow trim.  However, I saw some b&w photos that seemed to suggest that some had a different scheme.  On the "green" tugs, was the hull actdually black?  I am planning to paint the Walthers tug.

Phil Goldstein's site has a few color photos of CNJ tugs.

Hmm I’m just wondering if the colours were tangerine and blue like the early diesel locomotive scheme.
