Three Questions:

1. Who made the prototype?

2 What model is closest to this plate C car?

3 What color green is closest to this car?

Thanks.

Builder - Pacific Car and Foundry -  EFCX 1084

http://freight.railfan.ca/cgi-bin/image.pl?i=efcx1084&o=efcx

In HO scale -   Athearn PC&F 10'6" door insulated box car , announced 2008 , retired model, all paint schemes sold out at Athearn    - included  EFCX 1376

http://www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=ATH88955

Might be able to find a hobby shop that still has some, or find used one on EBAY or at a train show.

In N scale there is Micro Trains Line  03800260 released March 1999

EFCX 2875 but it is a stand in. The shell  is not a  PC&F car.

There is also 03200010 Released Nov-76  EFCX 2852 and Oct-78 EFCX 2900  also not PC&F shell and has roofwalk

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.
