My bad, I linked you to his profile. I was just giving you his username, just do a search for the Santa Fe Fast Mail. As a N Scaler myself, I think it would be worth your time to join theRailwire, a great supplement to the Model Railroader forums.

Your link took me to a log-in required page, could not see the topic. Thank you anyway.
A N Scaler on theRailwire forum, arbomambo, is putting together a consist of about the same year. You could ask him.
Thanks for pointing that out. They made a special run for George Hollwedel. I will try to contact him to see if he has any left. Again thank you.
Did Intermountain make a special run???
Edit. Looking at this site it would appear they did make an FE-24. There is also reference to the Atlas 50" Double Door Steel Boxcar but it does require modification.

I can't comment on the availability of suitable N scale cars, but it appears to be a fairly standard-looking 50' steel car with double doors.
There's some additional information in the link, below, regarding paint schemes.

Been out of the hobby for a fairly long period of time and got back into it about 18 months ago. I am currently trying to put together a Santa Fe Fast Mail train circa 1952/53 time frame in N scale. Does anyone make a Santa Fe Fe-24 correctly painted and lettered for this time frame? Also I have been told MRR did an article about the Santa Fe Fast Mail, but have been unable to find out which issue it was in.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
