Hi from England [:)], I'm modelling BNSF in So. Cal with UP running through. I have several UP loco's and i'd like to get a SD9043MAC to run on my layout but are they rare in So.Cal as I know they are used in the mid west for coal trains. Have they ever just "turned up" as part of a lash up as i've been to Colton several times in the last 18 months but never seen one.

In very sure the you will see alot UP SD90MAC Locomotives out there all the time.
Second. The only one that Makes the UP SD90MAC is KATO.
If they don't have any more in stock (in which im sure that they still do),You might have to call you local hobby stores from here and there,or just check the internet,im sure that there are a few still floating around.
Hope this helps!

Kentucky is a long way from So. Cal lol, I was just told that they are rare there as they mainly stay in the mid west coal fields but I was told that about BNSF SD70MAC's and I saw one at Commerce in January

They end up in California all the time. Go to www.railpictures.net and search for SD9043MACs in California. A bunch come up. None are at Colton but a bunch are up on Cajun Pass and a couple in Ontario. They have to end up at Colton sometimes.
