The height of couplers

Hi,

I need to know the height US sytle couplers from the top of the rail to the coupler center.

Can somebody help?

Hello Harun and Welcome!

What I know about coupler heights comes from the AAR (Association of American Railroads) Rule 16 Item E, 12 which states that:

The center height of the coupler for EMPTY cars is 32-1/2" Minimum and 34-1/2" Maximum

For LOADED cars it is 31-1/2" Minimum and 33-1/2" Maximum
