There are a couple of the UP heritage locos sitting in Bailey yard right now. Just left of the building with the safety first sign next to the shops dead line.

I pray every day I break even, Cause I can really use the money!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left!
They are still there. The Katy and the Rio Grand. It would be nice if the camera would quit stopping.
Pete,
Last week I spotted the UP's Missouri Pacific heritage loco in my neighborhood (Klamath Falls, Oregon), on the point of a northbound freight, and conveniently stopped long enough for a picture.
Wilton.
Another shot of UP's MP heritage SD70ACe north of Klamath Falls OR. leading a freight.
The reason for two posts is I haven't figured-out how to copy and insert more than one image link at a time. Wilton.

Nice shots. Good catch!
I am wondering why they are sitting in the dead line at Bailey? Lots of iron parked there not making any money.
Good question. Hopefully, someone on this forum can shed some light on how the dead line functions.
My pasture looks out towards the UP main line (single track), and there is a passing siding there. The BNSF and Amtrak both have trackage rights on UP's line here, and I am treated to numerous meets every day. I really enjoy watching and listening to those big diesels accelerate away from there.
