Commerce BNSF yard

Hi from England [:)] I am planning to make a another trip to So.Cal next month and i want to know if I can photograph BNSF's Commerce Fuelling point from the Metrolink station or can good photographs be got from somewhere else without going onto BNSF property. Do they also use Hobart Yard to stable loco's as well or do they all run back to Commerce
