C&O, B&O and RS-11 Engines
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, August 30, 2004 12:35 PM
Does any of our B&O and C&O experts know if either railroad used Alco RS-11?

I model the B&O and some C&O and I just recently picked up 2 Atlas RS-11s. I'd like to paint them in either colors depending if either railroad used them.

Thanks

No, I don't believe either C&O or B&O used the RS-11.

The RSD 12's were lettered for and used by the B&O also. These were the same units that the C&O used and then passed on to the B&O.
