does anyone know where i can find drawings or measurements of Southern Pacific Tractive Effort Booster Units? #'s 1600-1613. i want to build a pair but i need to know how tall, how long, and where exactly to place the grills and fan and the other parts, and what size the roof fan and side grills are.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried typing Southern Pacific TEBU into Google?

Here's a link to a series of walkaround pictures: http://espee.railfan.net/picindex/tebu_walkaround/index.html

And here's a link to pictures of all of them: http://espee.railfan.net/sptebu.html

Since they're basically de-engined U25B's, it shouldn't be too hard to bash one up with the photos available.

It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.
