Your absolute best bet would be to search the photo archives of the Denver Public Library:

http://photoswest.org/

I did a quick keyword search on Cheynne, and got 118 pages of hits (photos start on page six). A search on Union Pacific came up with 375 pages! The photos online are low-res thumbnails. The library offers 8x10 glossies at a fair price. Keep in mind that not all of their collection has been scanned in yet.

You could also try digging through the photos at www.rr-fallenflags.org They've got lots of UP photos there, including a lot of steam. One or two might have the old doal dock in the background.

Chyenne coal bunker help
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, August 15, 2004 8:39 PM
Can anyone out there direct me to a URL with pics of the old UP wooden coal bunker at Chyenne WY? I am building a HO scale diorama using an old styrene kit. Pics of the whole UP yard area in Cheyenne would be a great help. Thanks!
