Back in 2003 I saw a bunch of SLC reefers out here. Most of them were ex-SPFE. I wonder if any of those are still around.

San Luis Central still has a small fleet of ex-MILW PCFs they use to ship perishables in- I occasionally see them on the BNSF here in Houston.

57' PC&F reefers in 2011?

So who still uses 57' PC&F mechanical reefers in 2011?  I can only think of UP/ARMN and NRDX “cold train”.  Until recently BNSF had oxide red WFE and green BNFE/WFE 57' reefers, but from what I’ve heard they were all scrapped in 2010 and BNSF no longer has WFE reefers on their roster.

Too bad considering I already have the Intermountain HO BNSF/WFE PC&F R-70-20 reefer:(
